Diet Change

Unfortunately, I am having to change my diet plan because I realized that I can not afford to eat 2 salads a day. I am not sure how I originally figured it would be affordable... I think that is because I assumed that the lettuce would make a lot more salads than they actually do.

Anthony and I have a $60 a month budget for food and that is for the both of us not $60 each. I just added up the cost of the salads per month and it came out to $56! So that would leave my poor Anthony with only $4. Not gonna happen. This month we had a little extra money and we actually spent close to $100 on food. Maybe even $120 after I go shopping again today. That is how I have been able to eat salad for these past few weeks. I have no clue how I did not realize how expensive this would be.

Anyways never the less.

I have now developed a new diet plan that is wayyyy more cheaper and still will have the correct amount of calories or less. It will just leave me a little hungry because it will be less food.

My old diet plan:
Lunch: a salad and 3/4 cup of vanilla yogurt with ice water
Dinner: a salad, 1 cup of a carb (whatever I cook for Anthony that night pasta, rice, stuffing etc.), and 6 oz of apple juice.

My new diet plan:
Lunch: a sandwich with fat free cream cheese and sugar free jelly and one serving of all natural apple sauce
Dinner: 1 cup of a carb, 1/2 cup of a vegetable, and a tiny piece of meat with ice water

The goal is to have 300 calories for lunch and 500 for dinner no matter what it is that I am eating. I believe this will still work, I do not see why it wouldn't. I know it won't be as healthy but I really can't afford healthy food right now (sadly).

We shall see how this goes. New diet plan starts tomorrow.
