Eating Healthy Challenge Realizations

So I started my challenge of eating healthy on Tuesday night. So far it is going.... ok. I made some big mistakes though.

I bought WAY too much spinach and lettuce for the salads and a lot of it will go bad before I even get to eat it. I also then realized that I REALLY can not eat a whole salad and a fruit at work for lunch! I just get way to full and I am not used to feeling so full at work, it makes me tired and that causes issues. So I have decided to only take a fruit to work for lunch and no salad. Well.... this left me with another issue.... I made 14 salads on Tuesday night (7 days worth at 2 salads a day). Now I know that half of those will end up in the trash because there is no way they will last two weeks in the fridge. So I guess lesson learned!

As for the eating, I tried out brown rice and I actually REALLY like it! I thought it was gonna taste ick but I was wrong, to my surprise I thought it was really yummy. After eating my salad, 1 cup of rice, and a fruit, I was EXTREMELY full! I seriously never thought that would happen. I almost could not eat that much. So I am having no issues with getting enough food or feeling full.

The main issue I am fighting is the salads are not appetizing to me at this point. I am not sure why that is. I ate them before when I was on a diet and they seemed fine. Maybe my taste buds changed? The main thing that is bothering me is the dressing. I am currently eating fat free dressing only - I have a few to select from but none are seeming to hit the spot! I have thought about just buying normal dressing that is not fat free (losing weight is NOT the point of this diet, so it would not matter how many calories that had either way) but I found that most of the dressing I wanted to buy like ranch, honey mustard, creamy Cesar etc. all have milk or milk products in them, so they are not dairy free. And I do not want to consume any dairy. So I am still left with icky dressing at the end of the day. Hopefully I can think of a way around this or find a dressing that works for me. I was also thinking about dropping the salad all together and just eating boiled chicken, brown rice, and steamed veggies every night for dinner. I may just end up doing this in the end if I can not figure out the dressing thing. The only thing with that is it would require a lot more work because I would need to cook the chicken and steam the veggies where as now all I have to do is chop up salad once a week.

I have also been thinking about some other foods that would be okay to add to the list. I decided it would be okay to eat peanut butter (I was worried about this before because it is high in fat and calories), shrimp or any fish for that matter (plain with just salt and pepper), lime juice or lemon juice for sprinkling on stuff like salads or seafood, olive oil for cooking or to use in salad dressings if I ever made my own and hummus for spreading on toast or dipping veggies (the plain kind only though). I am thinking I am going to eliminate the fat free turkey lunch meat as well because that is very processed. I think for meat I will just stick to normal old skinless boneless chicken and just cook it myself.

Lots and lots to think about on this diet! Goodness who knew eating could be so complicated!

Challenges are... Challenging!

So I was supposed to start my 18 week challenge today! But..... I didn't, well not yet anyways, I plan to start at dinner time. I know, I know... PATHETIC that I can not even start when I planned to but the reasoning behind this is because Anthony and I received a box from Puerto Rico yesterday containing 6 large avocados and he REALLY wanted to make a very large Spanish meal. So we made the meal and it took all the energy out of me and I was much too tired to chop veggies for salads afterwards. So I will do my chopping later today when I get home from work!

I have also decided to change my challenge up a little bit because sometimes life hits you in the head... like yesterday, I went to Publix to buy all the stuff for my salads I am going to be eating and I FORGOT to get the fat free turkey! So Anthony suggested I just cook up some chicken and throw it in there, I thought about that and then realized what would be the big deal? This challenge is more about self discipline than it is about losing weight. So if I go over calorie limits or don't lose weight, it won't matter just as long as I stick to the guidelines (which I changed).

Before I was going to be eating the same thing everyday in the same amounts, with little variation depending on what vegetables and fruits are on sale. I had it all set up per oz and everything to where I would have a good amount of calories for losing weight, but now I am not so much wanting to focus this on losing weight as I just want to focus this on eating healthy and getting my gastric issues under control.

So now, I am using the following guidelines and not worrying about the amounts I eat or the calories I consume as long as I ONLY eat what is in this list I will feel like I accomplished what I set out to do.

Here is the list of the things that I will be consuming over the next 18 weeks -

*Vegetables (fresh only, no canned or jarred or frozen or processed)
*Fruit (fresh only, no canned or jarred or frozen or processed)
*Dressing (in small amounts only)
*Gatorade
*100% Fruit/Vegetable Juice (NOT from concentrate with NO additives what so ever)
*Water
*Brown Rice
*White Rice
*Tri-Color Pasta (with salt and pepper only)
*Whole Grain Pasta (with salt and pepper only)
*Whole Grain Bread
*Turkey (fat free lunch meat)
*Chicken (cooked with nothing but salt and pepper)
*Tuna (packed in water only)
*Soy Sauce (low sodium only)
*Coffee
*Non-Dairy Creamer

And there may be things added to the list along the way if I feel that they are healthy enough to eat. It seems like I keep thinking about more and more things that would be okay to go on the list or things that I HAVE to have on there, like coffee. But never the less, the challenge is to eat healthy and within the guidelines for 18 whole weeks and if I see good results with my stomach issues, I may just even stay on this diet forever. Because I have been searching for a diet that works with me. And I would really love to eliminate as much processed food from my diet as humanly possible. (Yes I know dressing and Gatorade are proceed but those are things I just HAVE to have).

I also decided that not only am I going to be tracking my stomach issues but I am also going to be tracking what I eat everyday so I can see if there is a link and if a certain food or food group is irritating my stomach. I decided to to this on my email calender so it can be digital, because it is REALLY hard for me to keep track of stuff on paper, but it seems digital is no problem.

The fun starts at 5:30 PM today! :]

The Challenge

My bloggy friend Karen over at adiposediet.com is holding a challenge check it out here. I have decided that it would fun to jump on board and do this challenge.

Everyone gets to pick their own goal to meet by February 4th. I have been thinking on this for the past few days and came up with a goal.

My goal is to develop a diet plan and stick to it 100% all the time. By this I mean eating the same thing in the same portions everyday. (more or less because I will be tweaking the menu weekly depending on what produce is on sale.) I would love to lose 9 lbs while doing this but that is not the ultimate goal. This is about self control. I want to prove to myself that I can maintain self control and that when I set out to do something I CAN do it. I am aiming to grow as an individual and become a more driven and stronger person.

This is important to me.

I am also hoping that this will help with my many gastric issues, and I will be tracking them as well.

Now for what I plan to eat, here is the menu (more or less).

Lunch:
12 oz Gatorade
1 Salad. My salads will consist of 1 cup of lettuce, 1 cup of spinach, 1/4 of a tomato, 1 TB bell pepper, 1 TB red onion, 1 piece of fat free turkey, 2 TB of low fat dressing. I will also be adding in a few extras each week that will change weekly. This salad will total about 115 calories.
1 Fresh Fruit (whatever is on sale)

Dinner:
12 oz Gatorade
1 Salad
1 Cup of white rice with 1 TB of low sodium soy sauce
1 Fresh Fruit (whatever is on sale)

So the total calories per day will be around 600 on days that I am working late into the night I will allow 1 cup of coffee (because I will not survive without it). I will also be taking calcium supplements because I plan or eliminate dairy from my diet completely.

And there you have it! I plan to start on October 1st. I know I can do this. And I WILL do this! I am extremely determined.

Diet Update

The drinking has been going well actually... to my surprise. Turns out Gatorade is working out with me and I don't have any issues drinking it. Some days my stomach is upset so I do not drink any or much at all but most days I drink at least 12 oz and that is very good compared to the 3-6 I used to drink.

I am now eating only a light lunch, this is because I want to avoid my stomach getting upset at work (it tends to do that a lot). My lunch well... snack really, is either a fruit roll-up, a granola bar, some crackers or a combinations of two of those.

I have been eating around 500-800 calories for dinner each day so depending on the day I have been eating about 800-1100 calories a day.

Yesterday I felt like my pants were really lose so I weighed myself at Publix and turns out I did not lose weight at all, I am still at 120 lbs. I just can't seem to get rid of these last 9 lbs. I know if I exercise that will more than likely do the trick, but honestly I don't have it in me. I don't have the time nor do I have the energy. I know that is a pathetic excuse, but I honestly do.not.have.it.in.me. Right now. Maybe in the future I will get back to walking a ton.

Since I have been drinking so much Gatorade, Anthony and I have been sampling all the flavors. Some of them have been good, others.... not so much.

We tried:

Cool Blue - this one was good

Citrus Cooler - this one was ok, it tasted like grapefruit to me and I am not a fan of grapefruit really. Anthony did like it though.

Melon- Neither of us like this one, I think it was supposed to be cantaloupe flavor, either way I am not buying it again.

Lime Cucumber - this one was not so good. It really tasted like cucumber. I do not like lime or cucumber though so maybe if you like them you would like this drink.

Tropical Mango - This tasted like mango. It was pretty spot on. I thought it was all right but nothing to rave about. Anthony liked it.

We also tried a white one, I can not find the name of it, I only got one sip because Anthony downed 99% of the thing before I had the chance to taste it, but from what I tasted it was bad... much too sweet. And he said he didn't like it either.

I think that we are going to stick to the normal classic flavors, from now on the red, orange, yellow, and light blue are our favorites.

Dry Kidneys Part 2

Since the flavored carbonated water was such a fail I decided to move on and try something else in my great search to find a drink that I can ACTUALLY sip on all day to prevent dehydration. This time I went with Gatorade.

I chose Gatorade because it happened to be on sale at Publix lol. That and it only has 80 calories per 12 oz. It is not too sweet like juice, it is supposed to be super hydrating, and there are lots of flavors too.

I am not so happy about all the dyes and the fact that it is not calorie free but hey it's better than soda or high calorie juice.

Day one went ok-ish. I poured about 24 oz and took it with me to work I ended up drinking prolly 18 then Anthony drank the last bit when I got in the car after work lol.

Today is day two and it is going bad. This is only because I have a UTI and I am sort of uneasy about drinking a lot as it will REALLY make me have to pee. I took the medicine for it today and I think that is helping. I poured about the same amount for today maybe a little more and I still have not drank any of it. And it is all ready 12:30 half way through the day. I am hoping that I can down at least half by 5 pm.

I think all in all I can do Gatorade. Do I love it? No. Is is do-able? I think so. Guess we shall see how this pans out and if I can stick to it or not.

Dry Kidneys

I have always had the issue of not drinking enough. I mean I am literally dehydrated 24/7. Some days I really don't consume more than 8oz of liquid. I think I have even gone days where it is less than that. The reason behind this is, because I just don't get thirsty. And since I'm not thirsty.... I don't drink. Makes sense right? I guess I just forget to drink. I know it sounds silly but it's true.

Well I have come to think that that this is starting to take a toll on my body. So I decided to do something about it. And not to mention, my new co-worker is always going on about how I'm gonna get dry kidneys if I don't drink more lol.

I know I need to drink but I also know that I will not be able to drink water because it is too bland. If I am drinking something with flavor it will be much better and easier for me. The issue with that is the calories. I do not want to DRINK my calories!

So I decided it would be a great idea to drink this:
And.... I WAS WRONG!

I went to Walmart last night grabbed 3 bottles for a little test run. These are 33 oz so I figured if I drank one a day that would at least help my issue. I remember drinking these as a kid and LOVING them! I do not know if they changed them or if I changed lol. After all that was like 15 years ago.

I grabbed my first bottle and took it to work today, it was actually White Grape flavor. I do specifically remember liking White Grape flavor as a child and I always felt like it was a treat when my father bought these because it was not something we bought on a normal basis.

Anyways, I sat down at my desk this morning turned on my computer... did the normal stuff. Then I grabbed the bottle and opened it up. Took a big gulp, and almost died! This stuff is FOWL. It has that nasty fake sugar taste, the same one in diet sodas that lingers in your mouth for 20 minutes after each sip. I still have it in my mouth even after rinsing with water!

I decided to check the label and see if it had aspartame like the diet sodas, and sure enough it did! I really did not expect that as this is simply flavored carbonated water. These will definitely be going in the trash, or maybe I will return them or give them to someone.

Back to the drawing board. Anyone have any ideas? They would be greatly appreciated. I have seen the beverage called "Ice" and I am thinking about giving that a try. Has anyone tried it?

I lost weight!

On Saturday I hopped on the scale to see how much I weigh and I was expecting it to be something like 122 or 121 but it was actually 118.5! I now only have 7.5 lbs to go! I am so thrilled to know that my efforts are paying off! I do not really feel all that skinnier but I did try on my old pants and I can button my size 0 jeans again all though they are quite tight and not comfortable to wear yet. I can now fit into my size 2 jeans as well :] so yay me. I will post pics of my updated post baby belly in a few days. When ever I find the time to take some! lol

Have a great Tuesday!

Foods I Miss Eating & Diet Update

I often find myself walking through the grocery store ogling over all the things I really should not be eating. When I first started my diet looking at these things made me feel kinda sick. But now that I haven't had them in so long they just look so yummy!

I really wish I could have some...
French Fries...
or a burger...
or a few donuts...
or some fried chicken!...
I could die for some Hershey's Kiss' right about now!
or even some chips!...
And don't get me started on what I would do for some fried coconut shrimp!
Anywayssss! lol You get the picture! I miss just about everything that is super unhealthy!

Now for a diet update:
These last few days have been a bit rocky. It all started on Saturday when Anthony, Bear and I got invited to my uncle's house for dinner. I of coarse could not count calories at a dinner party! So I over ate. But hoped it would be okay because I did walk 5 miles that morning, but when we got home both Anthony and I were both CRAVING strawberry cheesecake... so we broke down and bought one. And I ate two pieces :O and another piece the next day as well. I did walk 4 miles on Sunday as well, but I still don't think that was enough to make up for the extra calories I did eat. I also ran out of cream cheese and apple sauce and have not yet made it to the store. So my lunches have been kinda off. Yesterday I had 8 fish sticks and some horseradish. That was a little over 300 calories so not too bad but kinda high for lunch. Today I had an okay lunch, instead of the cream cheese and jam sandwich I had a piece of fat free turkey with one piece of toast and jam with another piece of toast, the calories for that should be right where they should be or even maybe less. And now that I think of it, on Friday I seriously over ate at dinner as well. Anthony bought a very unhealthy Publix sub, I had about 1/4 of it and then later on in the evening I felt hungry again so I had about 250 calories worth of pasta (EEP!).

I have been thinking about it and I know I am not fat and it would not hurt to just stop dieting as long as I did not gain weight. But I really do not want to stay at 125 lbs it's just not me and I definitely want to be back to my normal self before I re-do my wardrobe! (which won't be until Anthony and I have a lot of money coming in so that may not be for like a whole year from now).

I think mainly it has to do with sticking to my guns. Proving to myself that I CAN do this! That I am not a quitter or a failure. I guess at the end of the day a little extra cheesecake isn't that big of a deal so long as I stick to the plan for the most part.

I still have not weighed myself but I do not feel like I lost any weight at all because my pants have not gotten looser. If I do not see any results by July, I guess I will have to make a new diet plan :O I hope to have lost about 6 lbs by now and be at around 119 but I somehow do not think that is the case... maybe I will venture to Publix tomorrow and hop on the scale when Anthony isn't looking <.<

Diet Change

Unfortunately, I am having to change my diet plan because I realized that I can not afford to eat 2 salads a day. I am not sure how I originally figured it would be affordable... I think that is because I assumed that the lettuce would make a lot more salads than they actually do.

Anthony and I have a $60 a month budget for food and that is for the both of us not $60 each. I just added up the cost of the salads per month and it came out to $56! So that would leave my poor Anthony with only $4. Not gonna happen. This month we had a little extra money and we actually spent close to $100 on food. Maybe even $120 after I go shopping again today. That is how I have been able to eat salad for these past few weeks. I have no clue how I did not realize how expensive this would be.

Anyways never the less.

I have now developed a new diet plan that is wayyyy more cheaper and still will have the correct amount of calories or less. It will just leave me a little hungry because it will be less food.

My old diet plan:
Lunch: a salad and 3/4 cup of vanilla yogurt with ice water
Dinner: a salad, 1 cup of a carb (whatever I cook for Anthony that night pasta, rice, stuffing etc.), and 6 oz of apple juice.

My new diet plan:
Lunch: a sandwich with fat free cream cheese and sugar free jelly and one serving of all natural apple sauce
Dinner: 1 cup of a carb, 1/2 cup of a vegetable, and a tiny piece of meat with ice water

The goal is to have 300 calories for lunch and 500 for dinner no matter what it is that I am eating. I believe this will still work, I do not see why it wouldn't. I know it won't be as healthy but I really can't afford healthy food right now (sadly).

We shall see how this goes. New diet plan starts tomorrow.

Junk Food Relapse :O

OK so I know I just started my diet but I had a bit of a relapse the past two days. On Monday, I just HAD to have a McDonald's McFlurry! but I did not eat breakfast and for dinner I just had a tiny bowl of macaroni and cheese so hopefully it was not too bad. And last night Anthony and I ordered a pasta box from Pizza Hut, so I had some pasta and two bread sticks along with half my salad (because Anthony wanted some salad too). It was a whole plate of food but granted a least 1/3 of the plate was covered with salad. I did not eat lunch that day because I was not feeling well at lunch time, and had a piece of toast with peanut butter and jelly for breakfast. So I am thinking I ended up eating about 200 - 300 more calories than I should have which isn't too insane... I think... I hope.

In other news. I have not weighed myself but I would like to think that I am making some progress because this morning I put on my pants and they were kinda lose! Not a lot lose but enough to notice they were not as tight as before. This helps a lot to encourage me to stay on track! I am oh so exited now! If I just even lost 1 lb and have some proof that my efforts are working I know that all the lame salads are worth it :]

Mini Diet Update

Last night I had 1 cup of macaroni and cheese and a TINY piece of buffalo chicken along with my salad. I had to eat the tiny piece of chicken just to taste the new recipe I had cooked for Anthony. I ate the salad first and then the chicken. Once I got halfway through the macaroni and cheese I was full! YAY. So I put the remaining 1/2 cup in the fridge for tomorrow.

This morning I tried eating breakfast. I had 1 cup of corn flakes with 1/3 cup of fat free Lactaid and this was about 145 calories. So my calorie intake is now right at about 828 like I want it to be, all though it may go over just a little on some days. I ate the cereal at 6:30 am and started feeling very hungry and calorie deprived (tired and shaky) at around 10:30 am. I eat lunch at 12 so this was a bit of an issue. I tried drinking water to help the shakiness thinking that maybe I was dehydrated. It helped a little bit and I felt better by 11 but ultimately I know my body wanted food. I am thinking that maybe my body reacted this way because it is not used to eating breakfast. I am not sure if I should keep eating breakfast in hopes I will get used to it and adjust or if I should stop eating breakfast to prevent this.

We shall see.

Dieting Update #2

Monday, I started my diet! All weekend long I knew I was planing on starting on Monday, so I snacked away on all the left over cookies and candies and chips we had around the house. One of my favorite things to eat was sugar! Anything sweet. That is now a thing of the past.

Here are a few pics to give you an idea of just how much I love sugar! lol

From our Easter clearance splurge!
 More Easter goodies
And... even more. See I was NOT kidding! lol and all of this was bought in one trip to the store!
My guilty pleasure has always been gummy candy! Anthony always used to buy me gummy worms and gummy bears when I came over to his house :] these were also a favorite of mine.
And last but not least... my other guilty pleasure: CHEESE! I love cheese, can not get enough of it, I used to eat it in chunks literally like 5 oz in a sitting. Can you believe 1 oz has over 100 calories in it! Yikes! I am limiting my cheese to 2 TBS a day now.

I will definitely not be buying anything sweet for a long while. So with that behind me... here is how my new diet is going.

Everyday for lunch I am eating a salad that contains: 1.5 cups of iceberg lettuce, 1 TBS of chopped green bell pepper, 1 TBS of chopped red onion, 1/4 a medium tomato, 1 TBS of shredded cheddar cheese, either 1/2 a boiled egg or 1 piece of fat free turkey lunch meat, and one salad pepper. Topped with 2 TBS of fat free or light dressing. I currently have fat free ranch, french, and Italian as well as light Cesar to chose from so I don't get bored. Along with that I eat about 1/3 a cup of vanilla yogurt and have ice water for a drink.

My thoughts: At first my main concern was that the serving suggestion of 2 TBS of dressing would not be enough to dress my salad. After all the salad is what I would call a medium size. I was wrong. It was actually the perfect amount! Score! I am so glad that worked out. As for the flavor, the fat free dressings are not to bad, they are not fantastic but they are pretty good and definitely tolerable. I did not however like the salad peppers I bought, I think this may be because the brand though, next time I will try another kind. So the big question... did it fill me up? Yes it did but I won't lie... I was hungry again by 2 PM and I don't eat dinner until around 4:30 - 6:30 PM so that will take some getting used to. But all in all it was okay and I am pretty sure if I don't get lazy, or too broke to afford this, I will be able to stick with it!

For dinner I will be having the same salad with a different dressing along with a carb from Anthony's dinner. Monday night he had hot dogs so I had one hot dog and one bun with no toppings. And I had 6 oz of apple juice for a drink. I think I may have gone over my calories with the hot dog because it was about 220 alone and really I think I needed it to be more like 150 but I think that is okay because I am still cutting WAY back in the calories even if I went over my goal a little bit. I finished the salad and the hot dog and drank about 4 oz of the juice and was over that.

My thoughts: It made me full but not full full. Before, I would eat until I was full and felt good. This meal did not get me there. It did however make me full to the point where I was no longer hungry. So I think I have something good going here. I think before I was more than likely over eating causing me to gain weight and/or just not lose weight. Had I not been on a diet I would have definitely eaten more food than I did last night and I would have snacked while I cooked to take the edge off my hunger, I would have had a cookie or two or some candy or beef jerky or ever bits and pieces here and there of what I was cooking. That is now a thing of the past, I know I have to practice self control now when it comes to these things and it is going to be hard but I believe I can do it.

Another random thought: I did wake up this morning hungry. I think I may try and integrate breakfast into my diet somehow as well. I know breakfast is good for you and if I can get it to where the calories are right I would definitely not mind having some breakfast at around 6:30 AM every morning. I will have to look at the calorie counter and try and figure out what I can do for that.

I have not weighed myself since I went to the doctors on Friday so I am unsure of any progress, but I am assuming there is none because it has only been 3 days so far on this diet.

Dieting Update #1

I have not yet started my diet I plan to do this on Monday. I did go shopping last night and picked up all the stuff I needed for my adjusted meals.

I realized that I have a different outlook now... I see stuff in the store or look at the stuff that people are eating and think to myself "Oh God! That would make me as big as a house!" where as before I would look at these things and want them. Now I really am not interested in eating anything that would potentially cause me to gain weight or to interfere with me losing weight. I am really glad for this because I know self discipline can be one of the hardest parts of dieting.

I told Anthony that I was planing on going on a diet... he was not to happy about it and said he was not going to let me do it. I am not so sure why he is so stuck up on me not losing weight but I really hope he comes to realize and respect that this is something that is very important to me. I want to go back to the way I have always looked. I feel like I am not myself and I want to fix it. I really hope he can accept that and let me do what I need to do.

I went to the doctor yesterday and they weighed me and told me I am 125 lbs. I am not sure if the scale in Publix was off or if I lost 3 lbs in 1 week? I had not done any dieting last week at all so I am thinking the scale in Publix is off because I know the doctor's scale is right. Never the less I am now 125 so only 14 lbs to go. That can't be that hard.... I hope.

Dieting

Dieting... SIGH.

I didn't want it to have to come down to this but I am afraid I am going to need to start dieting. I have noticed that my weight is going up instead of down and after a bit of research I would like to say I have an idea why that is happening.

After I had Seth I did  not diet afterwards, the weight just seemed to come off on it's own. This time it isn't happening. I have gained 7 lbs since I had Bear! When I left the hospital I was (I think) around 121. I am now 128 and this is upsetting me quite a bit. I know I am not fat but I am not at the weight that I would like to be. Ideally I would like to be 111 lbs, the weight I was before I got pregnant. I would settle for 115 but anything over 115 seams over weight to me. Because I have been hovering between 99 and 114 since I was about 14 years old so for me this is my NORMAL, and anything else is fat. I want so desperately to get back to my normal so diet here I come!

.... right after I finish off all the non-diet stuff I have laying around my house. Not because I am delaying it but because I do not want any perfectly good food to go to waste. So over the next week I will be eating the chocolate cake, lemon cake cookies, and Cheetos I have sitting in the kitchen. Then I will be ready to diet!

I am not so sure I will be able to get much exercise in due to the fact that I really do not have much time for that. But maybe I will start walking to work or walking home from work and then eventually work into walking to and from work everyday. I have been having a hard time walking long distances now a days because I am out of shape. It used to be I could walk 8 miles a day no problem but now I go 2 and I feel completely fatigued beyond belief.

So, I will start with adjusting what I eat. My plan is to consume no more than the following each day.
Calories- 828, Fat - 27G, Cholesterol - 124MG, Sodium - 994MG, Carbs - 124G, Fiber - 10G, Protein - 21G and Sugar - 14G

I have been looking at calculators and I do realize that this is going to be HARD! I am not too worried about the cholesterol, sodium, fiber, or protein. I am going to try and focus on not going over the calories, sugar, fat, or carbs. I also realize the reason I am not losing weight is because I am currently exceeding these amounts everyday even though I am often skipping lunch and breakfast, I still end up going over the amounts at dinner time.

The goal is to lose 2 lbs a week over 9 weeks for a total 17 lbs loss. And be back to my 111 lbs by June 26th.

We shall see. I will let everyone know the progress that I am seeing. This will not be steady though because I do not own a scale and Anthony would never let me buy one because he knows I would worry too much when I got on it and it did not say what I would want it to say lol. But when I happen to be in Publix I can weigh myself (when Anthony isn't looking) to see my progress.

I made a ticker for when I post updates :] I will post the updated ticker every time I weigh myself. Here's to a new lifestyle! Wish me luck!
