- The saying "little one" - I have no idea why but when people refer to my baby as my "little one" it REALLY annoys me! a lot.
- The saying "let's get you cleaned up" or "go get him cleaned up" - Anther one of those things that I have idea why it annoys me but it does. I would much rather they say "Come on, lets go take a bath" or "go give him a bath".
- When people refer to their multiples as a unit ALL the time. Example: the twins are down for a nap, the triplets just ate dinner... etc. I understand every now and then saying it but some people ALWAYS refer to their kids or others kids like that. It really annoys me, as they are not one person they are two or three or w.e.
- When people call their children "the baby" - This makes your baby seem like an object! "The baby" is a human with a name, you wouldn't call your husband the man or your wife the woman now would you? Didn't think so. My father always calls my son "the baby" he has never once called him by his name. It drives me up the wall insane!
- When my dog stares at me while I am eating - My dog has the habit of sitting in front of me (or anyone else with food) and staring at them with out moving until they are done eating. He does not beg or cry, he just stares. He will not go away or stop staring for anything (not even if you give him some of your food) the only way is to physically pick him up and lock him in another room! I love my dog but seriously... this is really starting to piss me off.
- The way my dog eats - Again, I love you Charlie but really? Come on! His food bowl is in the kitchen. Charlie will take a bite of his food and then run out of the kitchen and into the living room where Anthony and I are, and eat it there. He will then run back to the kitchen and do it again! If we are both in the kitchen he will run with his bite to the dining room and look at us from there while he chews and then run back to the kitchen for another bite and back to the dining room again to chew it. So while we are trying to cook we have a dog running back and forth under our feet. I tried moving the bowl to the dining room and he just does the same thing but runs with his bite from the dining room to the living room. I know he is a dog so this does not make me that mad but it sure does irritate me and I really wish he would stop doing it!
- When people are late to everything - How hard is to be at a place at the time that you say you are going to be there at? I understand being late every now and then, life happens. But some people are late EVERY time! Like my sister for example. If my sister says she will be there at 4 you can expect her to be there between 6-7. Really. And my father, he used to drive me home from work, when he tells me he will be there in 10 minutes what he really means is 25 and this is an every time occurrence. When they arrive on the time that they say they are going to it is basically jaw dropping. I wonder how they manage to get to work on time!? Then again I know they do or else they would not have a job, so maybe they just do not care to arrive anywhere else on time. That says a lot about a persons character.
- When people don't throw stuff away - Why would you put trash on the counter if the trash can is LITERALLY the same distance away?! It just does not make sense to me, it really doesn't. Or why would you leave trash anywhere other than the trash can when the trash can is only a few steps away, it only takes a whole 46 seconds to walk to the trash can! Why would you put the trash anywhere else? Same goes for laundry. Why would you put your dirty laundry on the floor when there is a hamper or basket just a few feet away? Pure laziness it baffles me.

You Know What Grinds My Gears?
Everyone has them, things that drive them up the wall crazy! Things that make you want to pull your hair out and run screaming into the night! I am a laid back person so I do not have many things that do drive me bonkers. I have noticed that they change all the time as well, I guess that is probably due to the natural maturing process. When I was in high school one of the things that annoyed me the most was when people watched TV while that ate. Now I don't like eating without the TV... go figure. People change so much, it's pretty wild to think about.
Any-who, here is what's been currently driving me crazy:
1. ....... So I went to type number one and realized well.... there is not a single thing that has been driving me crazy. (well other than the normal stuff that has always bothered me). Hmmmm.... I think that this is a good thing, even though it just ruined this blog post. Kinda.
Suppose I will tell of the things that have always bothered me.
1. When people leave hangers hanging in the closet that have no clothes on them. - I know this is petty but I HATE it when the closet gets full of hangers with no clothes because then when you go to take some clothes down some of the empty hangers fall and they all get in the way and BLAH I don't even want to think about it lol.
3. <---- Yes I skipped step two, I just had a total brain fart there lol The saying "Hey, you". HATE it! Not so much when by itself like if you are calling someone from across the street. The way it bothers me is when people say it in a friendly way like "Hey you! I have missed you!". Just doesn't make sense to me at all.
4. When people that claim to be Christians (or have any other religion with a God) say "I hate my life". Now come on people! Don't you think that's kind of like a slap in God's face? After all he has blessed you with and done for you, you go and say you HATE it? Blows me away.
5. When people who are broke spend money on stupid stuff. Like my father for example. The man has barley enough money to pay the bills, well in fact he doesn't have enough money to pay the bills because he used to (before I myself became broke) ask me for money to help him pay the bills all the time. He (well mainly his wife really) like to have fancy dinner parties! Like COME ON! You can't afford to pay your electric bill and yet you are going out and buying loads of food and party favors too give out to your friends just to make you look good? What are you trying to do? Fool them into thinking that you aren't broke? Eye, eye, eye!
6. Moochers. Leeches, people who latch on and suck others dry. Example: When I had roommates... there were two of them. The one that went to work and the moocher. The moocher (a guy) sat at home all day and watched TV. LITERATELY I know because he was using my Netflix account and they have online logs of all the stuff that is watched. They lived with me for something like 9 months. He did not work but maybe 5 days those whole 9 months! The worker (a girl) went to work and paid for his part of the rent and everything else for that matter. Well except for food because he got food stamps... buy LYING to the government and saying he was homeless. And when I asked him about why he did that his response was "Well I basically am homeless". When you have a house to live in and watch TV in all day you are NOT homeless. Can't believe some people I really can't.
Then there is the other kind of moocher.... The kind that mooches from a distance. Example: my ex's mom. She has not worked since she was a teen and she is now 54 years old. So where does she get money you may ask? From her ex husband! She got him good for alimony in their divorce and is taking over half his check every month. So all she has to do is sit at home on her rump while someone else pays for all her bills and anything else she may want. RE-DIC-U-LOUS! And her son isnt any better! Guess he learned from mommy, he actually went online and looked up how to fake being skitzofranic (no clue how to spell that) and then went to a doctor and got him to diagnose him as a skitzo. Then he applied for SSI from the government... and he got it! So he sits at home while the government pays for all of his living expenses.
7. When people take their baby out in public naked. A baby is a person, just like you. Would you go to the local Wal-Mart naked? Didn't think so. Some may argue "But she has a diaper on!?".... in that case, "Would you go to the local Wal-Mart in your panties or boxers?" NO! so don't take your kids there naked either!
8. When people get pets and don't take them to the vet. Don't get a pet if you don't plan on taking care of it! It's that simple. Example: Right before my roommates moved out one of their cats got sick. She lost 90% of her hair was VERY skinny and was puking everywhere all the time. When I told my roommate about it she said "Yea shes sick".... I then asked her "Are you going to take her to the vet?" Her response... "Probably not". Crazy.
Then there are the people like my dad. Hehas HAD cats. He gets these cats and just basically throws them in his yard. Doesn't give them flea meds, attention, doesn't take them to the vet to get shots or spayed/neutered. Doesn't even feed them cat food! Instead he just gives them his old leftovers. When asked why he does this, he says something along the lines of "It's a cat!!! no need for all of that!" Makes me want to bang my head into a wall. He recently had three cats, one ran off one day (lucky cat best choice he prolly ever made!), they found the 2nd one dead in their yard a few months later. And the third... he got sick started loosing his fur went blind, wouldn't eat, just laid there and cried. And he didn't take him to see someone until he was literately laying in the yard barley breathing unable to move! And even at that he took him to the clinic that charges a few bucks to see whats wrong then more to fix it. He told me if the "more to fix it" was even a little high he wasn't going to do it because he... CANT AFFORD it! that goes back to #5, if you can not afford a cat... DON'T GET ONE! This isn't rocket science!
EEK. That's enough of venting about what drives me nuts for now :O
