Soap Shop Plans

I have seriously go to be one of the worst people at sticking to plans! My soap shop should have opened up over a month ago had I have stuck to the plans I originally made! Unfortunately that did not happen, but I now made a new plan. I plan to add new products to my crayon shop on May 13th and launch my soap shop on May 23rd (the one year anniversary of my crayon shop!).

This time I am really gonna stick to it and make sure it happens! I plan to take pictures of the new crayons that I already made today to get the ball rolling!

In other news... I won the discontinued Wilton mold I have been looking for for a over 2 years on eBay! WOOT! So exited to make these crayons and list them in my shop. I had the mold about 3 years ago and it was a big hit!
This is the mold =]

I also won a vintage Wilton Batman mold that I am super exited about and I am going to look for some more new ones later today too.

It's Moving Day!

Well it's finally here the day we move into my apartment and officially start our life as a family of three. I am very exited and nervous at the same time. I just really hope that everything goes well.

You can expect for me to go back to my regular one blog post a day in a few days once we have settled in.

Jazzing up Ramen Noodle Soup: Oriental Flavor

Have you ever thought to yourself "I wish these Ramen Noodles were more yummy!" well I have! lol so I decided to do something about it. On hand I had 5 packages of Ramen Noodles in various flavors, so I thought up two ideas this one and another that I will post in a few weeks.

Note: This is not a recipe so much as it is just me writing about trial in error in creating a recipe, this was try one and if definitely needs to be tweaked and tried again.

I didn't want soup so when I made this, I drained the water. So it was more like pasta. I wanted to jazz up the flavor a bit and add some vegetables, to create a completely different meal.

You will need everything in the picture. 1 package oriental flavored Ramen Noddle Soup, frozen stir fry vegetables, and soy sauce.
Step 1:
Cook the noodles according to the package but don't add the seasoning

Step 2:
Cook the vegetables according to the package.

Step 3:
Drain the Noodles.

Step 4:
Add the vegetables, seasoning, and desired amount of soy-sauce.

Step 5:
Mix and Enjoy

I was hoping for a lo mien style noodle here. Obviously this is a work in progress. Here is what I observed with this experimental meal.
  1. It was MUCH too salty and I think that next time I will add 1/2 the seasoning packet, as I know the saltiness did not come from my low sodium soy sauce
  2. I thought it needed sugar because lo mien is kinda of sweet, I think that next time I will also add sugar
  3. Other than that it was pretty good, very flavorful and the veggies really were a nice touch
