Baby's First Doctor Visit

Bear had his first doctor visit on January 7th. This was a follow up with the pediatrician that saw him in the hospital when he was born. He was 4 days old at this visit.

When he was born he had a mild case of jaundice and a newborn rash.
At this appointment the doctor said his rash was much better but his jaundice was worst. She ordered us to take him to the hospital for a blood test to determine what the next move should be. We later got a call saying he was fine and that we needed to take no action.
He was still 18 inches (3rd percentile) and his weight went down to 5 lbs 14 oz. His birth weight (6 lbs 1 oz) was the 5th percentile. His head was 13.5 inches and in the 10th percentile. She described him as "petite".
(They were both so tired lol)
He also got his Hep B Vac at this appointment. We decided to skip it in the hospital just because there was so much going on and all ready being done, way too much poking and prodding was going on and we didn't want to add to it. He cried when he got the shot but was all better and happy again a few minutes later. He didn't get grumpy or cranky from it later on either.

All in all he is all healthy and lookin good!
