OB Update

Update from my OB visit on November 13th.

I was 32 weeks + 1 day at this visit

Vitals: all vitals looked good, including urine, weight, temperature, and blood pressure

Weight: I was 134 lbs. At my last appointment (two weeks ago) I was 130 lbs so I gained 4 lbs in two weeks. YIKES! I suppose that is okay though because I was a steady 130 for 4 whole weeks. I have gained a total of 23 lbs since I got pregnant.

Uterus: my uterus is measuring at 31 weeks, so a little behind but my doctor said that's okay

Notes: My doctor had the chance to go over the results from my ultrasound last Thursday. He said that my baby is growing great and does not look small at all but rather big. Not to big though ;p He said that he is measuring to a due date of Jan. 1st and my due date is actually Jan. 7th so he is a week ahead in growth. YAY!! Grow Bear, Grow!!

My next appointment is on Nov. 27th two weeks from today.

32 Weeks Pregnant - 56 Days to go!

My sweet baby Bear is 32 weeks! I can hardly believe it. I am so thrilled that he is as strong as he is. I absolutely adore him already and could not imagine life without him. I love feeling his sweet kicks and nudges. When I don't feel any for a while I get super panicked and start frantically poking him (poor baby lol). My biggest fear is losing my sweet baby and I am willing to go to great extends to protect him and make sure that he is happy and healthy.

I pray for this child everyday and every night. I pray like no tomorrow for God to not take my baby away from me. I do not think I could bear to lose another child, I really don't. During my first trimester I had many complications. 10 doctors, TEN! told me that my baby was going to die. They sent me home with a urine collection cup, and told me when he came out to put him in the cup and bring him back to the ER for testing. But my sweet baby kept growing and he still is growing. For this child I prayed and I prayed hard! And Jesus gave me my miracle and allowed him to live. For that I am so thankful. I can not even find words to express the intense amount of thankfulness I have.

I am feeling VERY pregnant these days! My belly is getting bigger and bigger and is definitely noticeable. I can no longer fit into any of my pants and only fit into one pair of capris. My shirts... I can only fit in about 6 of those and I have over 30. I did buy 3 items of maternity clothes last week but I have yet to try them on yet. I have been having a few Braxton Hicks contractions but nothing extreme. Heartburn has laid off for the most part this past week and hopefully it wont come back! I despise heartburn and have been having a TON of it as of late.

3rd Trimester Ultra Sound

On Thursday October 8th Anthony and I went to our 3rd trimester ultra sound. My doctor does not normally do ultra sounds in the 3rd trimester, but he ordered one for me to check the growth of my baby because my first baby had a low birth weight of 5 lb 11oz at 40 weeks.

This was Anthony's first time seeing an ultra sound as he was not able to make it to the first one or the gender reveal. We are not very rambunctious people, but all and all it was quite exiting. We will not have the results of whether his growth is on track or not until November 13th (I will post about that tomorrow or Thursday). The radiologist did tell us however that he is weighing in at 3 lb 11oz currently though, and according to babycenter.com that is right on track for being 32 weeks. We shall see what the doctor has to say :]
